Food Aid to Thirty Needy Families

"Club donates food aid to 30 needy families"
On 13 June 2020, the Inner Wheel Club of Miri donated food items to thirty needy families of several villages in Tudan resettlement area. President Florence Enau, Vice-President Cecilia Sman and Club Secretary Heilda Amer were present to distribute the food aid with the help of Heilda's family members.
Former Chairman of Kampung Tudan 2A Village Development and Security Committee, Junaidi Mhali, helped in the selection of recipients who were sick elderly villagers or impaired, or in financial difficulties.
The items donated were 10 kg premium rice, cooking oil, sauce, eggs, salt and sugar, crackers, noodles, canned food and syrup. Funds were from the public and also a personal donation of RM900 by Zorah. President Florence, on behalf of IWC Miri, thanks Zorah and all the supporters for their generosity.
Prior to this, the IWC Miri had also given school bags and stationery to 24 needy students of SRK Pujut Corner in conjunction with the official visit of Inner Wheel District 331 Chairman, IIW Past Board Director Shirin Rustom Ghadiali.
