World Pulses Day @ Penjuru Dormitory
IWCS always support migrant workers in many ways.
World Pluses Day was celebrated on 8th February 2021. With the migrant workers in mind, PP Akila’s company Agrocorp initiated the programme by distributing 165 cooked Pongal and Sambhar bento lunch sets to migrant workers staying at Penjuru Dormitory.
Singapore Pulses Federations Ltd donated Murukku prepared by Project Smile.
On 10th February, upon suggestion by PP Wendy Louis, members contributed simple Pulses recipes and a mini Cookbook was created for internal circulation only.
Election Meeting
The Club’s Election Meeting was held on 17th February 2021 via zoom. It was well attended by members. Congratulations to the new Exco members.
