Muslims celebrated Hari Raya Puasa also known as EID on the 13th May 2021. On the happy occasion, families normally prepare a variety of food and desserts. They also wear new clothes and visit the elders of family.

Club members brought cheer to 80 needy families by donating a 'Eid' hampers. Selection of various dry food supplies from supermarket were made and arrangements for them to be delivered at a specific void deck for distribution.

The dry food supplies were biscuits, cooking oil, sugar, Milo, condensed milk, rice, box of masks, cereal for children, noodles etc which were packed in colourful bags.

On 7th May 2021, despite the heavy downpour of rain, it did not dampen the spirit of the residents who were waiting patiently at the void deck. It was heartening to see that the family members were happy and appreciative. At the same time they adhered to social distancing during the distribution process.

Family representatives, collected 2 bags of dry food supplies and a 10 kilo pack of Thai rice. Most of the residents were elderly.

Bringing cheer to the needy is our Club's forte!!
