Club's Birthday
Inner Wheel Club of Singapore East

We celebrated our club’s 46th birthday on 27 October 2021 with members and invited guests via a virtual zoom meeting.
District Chairman Datin Gillian Lee joined us in her official capacity “club visit”. She shared with us projects undertaken by district 331, the Water project in Sabah (how it has benefitted the villagers) and Fire extinguishers project in Sarawak. Our club donated SGD2,000 to each project. Announcements were made on next year’s District AGM which will be held on 19 March 2022 via zoom and Fellowship Rally which will be held sometime in May 2022 in Kuching, Sarawak. DC Gillian also mentioned that IIW is looking for more articles on “Empowerment of Women” in their newsletter to be submitted by 12th January 2022. And Last but not least, changes to District 331.
We had a Life coach and Project Consultant for CARE Singapore Marie Ang as our invited speaker for the day. Thank you Marie for that interesting talk on “What You See Is Not What You Get”.
Although there were no birthday cake this year to commemorate the occasion, nevertheless, we had a memorable afternoon with all who joined us for the celebration.
